Anna B. (Krzemien) Popek

Anna B. Popek, 103, of Wyano, died Tuesday, December 5, 2023.  She was born February 8, 1920 in Castle Shannon, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Pluta) Krzemien.  Anna was a member of Seven Dolors Church, Yukon.  Surviving are her loving daughter, Rosemarie Kirkpatrick; sisters, Helen Milewski and Josephine Hribar; special great great nephews, Jase and Cole Hribar; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward “Jupe” Popek; brothers, Frank, Stanley, and John Krzemien; and sister, Rose Czarnecki.  Friends will be received 4-8 pm Sunday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday in Seven Dolors Church, Yukon.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com.
