Alan K. Fossi

Alan K. Fossi, 71, of Herminie, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021.  He was born April 13, 1949 in McKeesport, son of the late Aldo and Violet Joan (Smaldon) Fossi.  Prior to retirement he was an insurance salesman.  Alan had a strong passion for Sewickley Township and helping the community.  He had been a Sewickley Township Supervisor, a board member of the Sewage Authority and the Crabapple Park and Pool, president of the Ambulance Service, and was a dedicated softball and baseball coach.  Surviving are two children, Emily S. Fossi (Louis Pennesi) of Greensburg and Aaron A. Fossi (wife Julie) of Wilton CT; three grandchildren, Violet, Cecilia, and Isabel.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Landsperger) Fossi.  Services will be private.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
