William Charles Dainty, 90, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, May 17, 2018. He was born March 8, 1928 in Sutersville, a son of the late John and Minnie (Ulrich) Dainty. Prior to retirement he was employed by Sargent Electric. A veteran of the Korean War, he served as a medic with the Army. William was a member of United Methodist Church of Manor. He enjoyed boating, fishing, reading, baseball and coin collecting. Surviving are two daughters, Linda D. Tuccelli and husband, Robert A. Sr., of North Huntingdon and Carole Schake and husband, Jack, of Irwin; six grandchildren, Amanda Zehnder and husband, Carey, Robert A. Tuccelli, Jr., J.L. Schake and wife, Aime, Shawn W. Schake and wife, Sara, Jessica Bernard and husband, Matt, and Alissa Rodgers and husband, Ryan; eight great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Esther (Schwab) Dainty; brother, John Dainty Jr.; and sister, Elizabeth Deutsch Zachetti. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8pm Sunday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St. West Newton, where Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Monday.
