Virginia A. “Ginny” Lash, 90, of West Newton, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018. She was born May 18, 1927 in Monongahela, daughter of the late John and Harriet (McCarty) Victor. Surviving are her husband, Bryan R. Lash; a daughter, Judith R. Backus and husband, Dennis, of West Newton; granddaughter, Kimberly Chilzer and husband, Jayme, of Ruffs Dale; grandsons, Charles R. Byrne and wife, Daniele, of Wyano, James F. Tuman and wife, Anitre, of Savannah, Georgia ,and Peter Hogan and wife, Kim, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; great granddaughters, Katelyn Chilzer and Kaley Byrne; great grandson, William Chilzer; a brother, John R. Victor of Amissville, Virginia; niece, Leslie Dawson and husband, Bill, of Centerville, Virginia; and great nephews, Matthew and Mark Dawson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, James F. Tuman. The Lash family would like to thank caregivers, Sandy Millward and Margaret Emerick; and Allegheny Health Network Hospice, Cindi, Amanda, Ashley, and Sue for all their kindness.
