Raymond W. Conrad

Raymond W. Conrad, 85 of West Newton, formerly of Smithdale, died Saturday, April 28, 2018.  He was born July 15, 1932 in Shoaf, a son of the late Elza C. and Viola M. (Collins) Conrad.  Ray was a member of First Church of God, West Newton and a past member of the former Victory Volunteer Fire Company.  Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice (Conner) Conrad; brothers, Elmer, Glenn, Edwin, Darold, Robert, and William; and sisters, Lela, Wilma, Virginia, and Pauline.  There will be no public viewing.  A graveside service will be held at 1pm Monday, May 14, 2018 in West Newton Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
