Mary Ann (Yuvan) Maughan

Mary Ann Maughan, 80, of Hutchinson, died Saturday, October 27, 2018.  She was born May 30, 1938 in Hutchinson, a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Jane (Roebuck) Yuvan.  Prior to retirement she was the Postmaster in Hutchinson for over 45 years.  Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren.  The keeper of all the family history, everyone went to her for that information.  She enjoyed vacations with her grandchildren and spending all of the holidays with her family.  Surviving are two children, Lester R. Mears, Jr. and wife, Michele, and Carlene Guerrieri; grandchildren, Jason Mears and wife, Brittany, Arron Mears and wife, Becki, Jenny Holleran and husband, Nick, Drew Maughan and wife, Christi, Megan Shogan and husband, Jon, and Tristan Guerrieri; great grandchildren, Maura and Evan Mears, Luke Mears, and Nora Holleran; daughter-in-law, Linda Maughan; a brother, David Yuvan and wife, Maxine; sister-in-law, Betty Yuvan; and son-in-law, Blaine Guerrieri; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester R. Mears, Sr.; second husband, Robert A. Maughan, Jr; a son, Robert A. “Robbie” Maughan, III; brothers, Frank and James Yuvan; sister, Betty Roebuck; and sister-in-law Betty Jean Yuvan.  Friends will be received 2-8 pm Wednesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St. West Newton, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Thursday.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhomes.com
