Mary Duda, 99, formerly of Isabella, died Monday, November 19, 2018. She was born December 28, 1918 in Searights, a daughter of the late George and Ann (Hricziscse) Mekovich. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, West Newton. Surviving are four children, Pauline Bosetti and husband, Eugene, Edward R. Duda, Jr. and wife, Holly, Joseph Duda, and Debra Ferguson and husband, David. Grandchildren, Gino Bosetti and wife, Denise, Norman Bosetti, Joseph Bosetti and wife, Missy, Katie Duda, Adam Duda and fiancé, Brianna, and Cortnee Cockrell and husband, Daniel; great grandchildren, Gina, Angela, Elijah, Shannon, Ava, and Mia; a sister, Pauline Duda; and a sister-in-law, Florence. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Duda, Sr.; a grandson, Edward Bosetti; and brothers and sisters. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St. West Newton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday in Holy Family Church, West Newton. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Brownsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
