John Lesko, 71, of Jeannette. He was born in New York, New York son of the late John and Vilma Lesko. Early in his career he worked for Westmoreland County as IT Director, later owned and operated the Fort Allen Dairy Queen, and finally retired from Hile Printing as a sales agent. John had an appreciation for history and preserving relics from the past. He enjoyed antiquing, attending auctions & classic car shows, and reading civil war history. He also enjoyed hunting and discussing sports & politics with his friends. Most of all John loved spending time with his family: gardening & cooking with his wife, daily phone calls with his daughter to catch up on life, and making his grandchildren laugh. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Vivian Lesko; a daughter, Jocelyne Curran and husband, Cy, of Petaluma, California; and granddaughters, Samantha and Lydia. Friends will be received 9-11 am Saturday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St. West Newton, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Rostraver Twp.
