David M. Brown

David M. “Monk” Brown, 52, of Clarion, formerly of West Newton, died Saturday, September 22, 2018.  He was born August 19, 1966 in McKeesport, a son of the late Kirk W. Jr. and Bessie A. “Becky” (Wunderlich) Brown.  David was employed by ARC of Clarion County as a mentor.  He was a member of VFW Post 7812, West Newton, the Slovenian Club and the Leiderkrantz both of Collinsburg.  David loved fishing, outdoors, animals, and his work.  Surviving are a brother, Kirk W. Brown III and wife, Tracy; niece, Alyssa Ann Brown; nephew, Kirk Matthew Brown; an aunt; and numerous cousins.  Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8pm Wednesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St. West Newton, where funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday.  Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth.    Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhomes.com
