Cynthia L. Greene

Cynthia L. Greene, 52, of Latrobe, died Monday, November 19, 2018.  She was born March 22, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Charles E. Greene and Patsy Greene Cramer, who survives.  Cindy is also survived by her step mother, Susan Luther; siblings, Patricia (Bob) Knapp and Bryan Luther; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She lived at a number of different homes within the Passavant Memorial System.  She enjoyed her housemates and staff.  As we all know, there were things that Cindy couldn’t do. She couldn’t walk. She couldn’t talk. She couldn’t do many things other people take for granted every day.  But that’s not who she was.  She could smile. She could laugh. She could feel unbridled happiness. She could love without condition. She could show her love without ever saying a word. Not everyone has those abilities.  Services and burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers family asks that a donation be made to Toys for Tots, or another charity of your choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to the J. William McCauley Jr. Funeral Home, West Newton.
