He was also a great dad, and loved listening to Polkas, going to Polish picnics, and his Stoney’s. Surviving are a son, Michael Zima and wife, Laurie; a daughter, Carol Gracon and husband, Tom; a brother, Joseph Zima, all of West Newton; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Zima. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St. West Newton, where a Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 am Friday. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
