A. Catherine Budd

A. Catherine Budd, 76, of Pittsburgh, formerly of West Newton, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 after a lingering illness.  She was born July 7, 1944, a daughter of the late Theodore and Alice (Scholl) Budd.  A longtime resident of Pittsburgh, she retired from PNC Bank.  Catherine was a strong person who loved her animals, Winston, her pug, and Oscar and Felix, her cats, who were waiting for her.  Surviving are a sister, Shirley Budd; her special friends and neighbors, Anna and Gwen, Marcus and Susie, Jane, and her lifelong friend, Daryl Lee Shaw.  Catherine always cared for her family, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 29, with Pastor John Manon officiating, at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St. West Newton.  Private burial took place in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhomes.com
