Rose Marie “Snookie” Zowacki, 83, of Sutersville, died Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was born June 7, 1940 in Salisbury, a daughter of thre late Lewis and Hazel (Beynon) Swindell. Snookie lived a simple life and took care of everyone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Zowacki; grandson, Chad Zowacki; two brothers; and two sisters. Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly Zowacki; a son, Charles Zowacki; a granddaughter, Keli Flanigan; great grandchildren, Ethan and Faith Flanigan, Madelyn Zowacki, and Riley Davis; Chad’s fiancée, Amber Snyder; and a sister, Janet Cant. There will be no visitation or service. Private burial in West Newton Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, West Newton.
