Doris Jean (Mitchell) Seilhamer

Doris Jean (Mitchell) Seilhamer, 85, of Lowber, passed away, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Transitions Healthcare, North Huntingdon.  She was born August 5, 1938, a daughter of the late Howard Milo Mitchell and Dorothy (Graham) Mitchell.  Doris was devoted to God and family.  She was a homemaker, raising her six children.  Surviving are four daughters, Sandra (Frank) Karr, Sherry (Nick) Nystrom, Shane (Jeff) Ferris, and Shawn (Dave) Kunst; two sons, Daniel Seilhamer and Charles (Rochelle) Seilhamer; four grandchildren, Bill (Kathie) Feltes, Natalie (Mark) Ferrenburg, Justin (Jenna) Feltes, and Stephanie (Joey) Seilhamer; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Blanche Santiguido; a brother, Rodney Mitchell; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Seilhamer, Jr. on November 3, 2008; a grandson, Kenneth M. Aronckes, Jr.; brothers Howard “Jim” Mitchell and James Mitchell; and sister, Wanda Leff.  Friends will be received 6-8 pm Monday at the J.
