William E. Davis

William E. Davis, 73, of West Newton, died Saturday, April 21, 2018.  He was born April 4, 1945 in West Newton as son of the late William Davis and the late Hazel Davis Neatby and husband Ralph. William was employed by Pleasant Hills Barber Shop for 50 years.  He was a member for over 30 years of the West Newton Fire Department, where he was Captain of the Fire Police, and a member of Independent Baptist Church, Belle Vernon.  Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Nancy Davis; daughter, Michele Maxwell and husband, Dave; his closest friends, Missy, Rick, and Shawn Waggoner, and Karen and Barry Bourne and family; his fire station 82 family; and his real dog, Lindsey.  Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, 901 Vine St. West Newton, where services will be held at 10 am Tuesday.  Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com
