Leonard D. “Buster” Williams, 81, of Monongahela, died Sunday, September 18, 2016.  He was born June 14, 1935 in Elizabeth, a son of the late Leonard and Mary (Zimmerman) Williams.  Leonard was a member of First United Methodist Church, West Newton and the West Newton Sportsmans.  He was veteran of the Korean War serving as a tank commander in the Army.  Prior to retirement he was employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Allenport.   An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved his family and was a great father and husband.  Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Shirley (Contenti) Williams; children, Terri Williams Coulter and husband, Don, of Chattanooga, Tn.; Brenda Collins and husband, Bob, of Penncraft; Richard Williams of Uniontown, Scott Hovanec and wife, Patty, of Collinsburg, Mark Williams of Monessen, and Marguerite Kuiros of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Keri Anne Huey, Richard and Erica Williams, and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn Chomas and partner, Goldie, of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melissa Williams; and brothers, Louis “Bumpsy” and Claude “Bob” Williams.  Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8pm Tuesday at the J. William McCauley, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 901 Vine St. West Newton, where services will be held at 11 am Wednesday.  Interment with military honors will follow in West Newton Cemetery.  The family would like to thank ViaQuest Hospice and the staff of the 4th and 7th floors at Mon Valley Hospital.    Condolences may be left at http://www.mccauleyfuneralhome.com
