Leah M. Schwet

Leah M. Schwet, 79, of West Newton died Friday, April 13, 2018.  She was a very dedicated member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, West Newton, where she was active in the Faith Formation Program, Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and served as a lector and Eucharistic Minister.  Surviving are a cousin, Rev. Edward Schwet; numerous other cousins; and dear friend, Coreen Goetz.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Victoria Schwet; aunt and uncle, Vera and Francis Stewart; and dear friend Hilda Bileck.  As per her wishes, there will be no viewing and a private burial.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am Monday in Holy Family Church, 225 N. Second St., West Newton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 225 N. Second St., West Newton PA 15089.  Arrangements entrusted to the J.
